It kills tubercle bacillus, diphtheria and staphylococcus, meningococcus and e.coli. It is a digestive stimulant, eases intestinal spasms, and kills intestinal parasites and scabies. Precautions: Blood thinner, do not use in cases of leukemia. This oil may be irritating to sensitive skin and may increase skin photosensitivity. Do not use before exposure to sun. Also, if using Bergamot in an air diffuser, use small amounts with larger quantities of other gentle essential oils, due to the high concentration of hydrocarbons in Bergamot (up to 55%), which can be an aspiration hazard for the lungs.
