Thyme Serpolet (Sweet Thyme, aka Mother of Thyme, Wild Thyme), Thymus serpyllum (Hungary):

One of the most frequently used essential oils needed to activate the vagus nerve and for blending into various formulas for the General Health & Vitality of the Whole Body, including Sinuses, Lungs, Drainage, Inflammation, Endocrine Support, Immune Support, Structural Alignment/Massage, Calming and Energizing - (Jodi Cohen 2023). Always dilute with carrier oil, gel or cream when applying to the skin.*

Thyme serpolet aka Thyme serpyllum is a critically important ingredient for infection-fighting blends, including our Power of Protection aka Thieves antiviral blend. It is gentle enough that the blends can be used for people of all ages, including young children and seniors. 

Reviving and antiseptic in small doses. Safest variety for general use. Wide-spectrum antibacterial. Also helpful for abrasions, bites, cleaning wounds, skin problems.

A gentle variety, safe for children. Use small amount with other respiratory oils (1 part Thyme with 10-15 parts combination of Eucalyptus, Niaouli, Myrtle, and Lemon. Thyme revives and strengthens mind and body, builds immune system. Thyme (Thymus serpyllum) is good for asthma and other respiratory conditions and is safe for children, but must be well diluted. 

For Relief of Sore Throat, a small proportion of Thyme serpolet can be used, in combination with other soothing, cleansing and infection-fighting essential oils Cinnamon, Eucalyptus, Ginger, Lavender, Lemon, Peppermint, Rosemary, Sage, &/or Tea Tree.

Properties:

• Speeds Healing: Severe skin disease (leprosy, Staph, body lice), viruses in the blood, plague.
• Nerve and Heart Tonic: Increases circulation, stimulates blood flow, speeds repair; regenerative for paralysis.
• Analgesic: Eases rheumatism, backache, headaches, joint pains, sciatica. Dilute in carrier oil & apply externally on skin, for joint pain.
• Antiviral:  Eases respiratory infections, chills, colds/flu, infections, bronchitis, pneumonia. Good for PANDAS, 3 drops on feet, diluted with carrier oil.
• Air Disinfectant: Blend Thyme with Clove, Lemon and Chamomile.
