Constituents: Eugenol, cinnamyl acetate, and beta-elemene; cirsilineol, cirsimaritin, isothymusin, isothymonin, apigenin, rosmarinic acid. Polysaccharides have been found, along with flavonoids, including orientin and vicenin. Holy Basil also includes trace levels of zinc and other minerals, ursoloic acid, and at least five fatty acids (stearic, palmitic, oleic, linoleic and linolenic acids) .
