Galbanum is a wonderful ancient Holy oil which is said to strengthen the immune system and excite and stimulate spiritual awakening and development.Galbanum is also known as the woman's Holy oil, and is one of the three most renowned of the ancient Holy oils (Labdanum, Galbanum & Olibanum or Frankincense).
While Galbanum is a powerful oil, frequently utilized in spiritual and immune-building blends, it is well-known for its propensity for "creeping up" to overpower blends. When we created the Gift of the Magi blend, it was necessary to reformulate three times because the Galbanum in the blend continued to become stronger over time. We have found that when blending, it is beneficial to combine Galbanum with Rosewood, which stabilizes the Galbanum and prevents the creeping effect when it is used as an element in a blend.
