Precautions: DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY! Pennyroyal essential oil is extremely concentrated. It should not ever be taken internally because it is highly toxic; even in small doses, the poison can lead to death. Complications have been reported from attempts to use the oil for self-induced abortion. Avoid using during pregnancy and never use the oil internally as it is an abortifacient. Do not use on children or infants. Fairly non-irritating, but may be carcinogenic due to the pulegone content; to be certain, check for a reaction. Dilute 15-30 drops in 2 ounces of a base oil.
